Q. Why am I inactive when I just signed up as a coach?
A. All new coaches start out their first week as inactive and the Beachbody system checks every Wednesday night at 12p EST, to see if each coach has bought or sold at least 50 pv (personal volume) in the last 35 days. If you have 50pv, it posts your new “active” status, or higher status, the next day – Thursday afternoon. If you ever see anything in your Coach Online Office that seems incorrect, you can always call coach relations 800.240.0913 or email [email protected] or even better, login to your coach online office and scroll to the very bottom and do a Live Chat with Coach Relations.
Q. What is Personal Volume (PV)?
A. 50 pv is about equivalent to what YOU pay, dollar for dollar, for products as a Coach. If someone buys it from your website, whatever they purchase has a PV attached to it. It’s the same pv points whether you buy it for yourself, or someone buys from your website from you.
Q. What does it mean to be Inactive?
A. As “Inactive”, you are still a Coach; you still receive commissions on sales you make, you still have a webpage, but inactive status is a pretty good indicator that you’re not really actively buying or selling and therefore not getting much out of the coaching experience.

Just log in to www.teambeachbody.com and click COACH and then PREVIOS OFFICE VIEW-that is your REAL TIME back office where new orders will show up instantly. But in the regular “coach online office” it takes up to 12 hours to show up!
Q. Why hasn’t my new coach shown up?

Q. Why haven’t my success club points shown up?
Success club points show up on the day after the order was purchased and if not then you need to call coach relations 1-800-240-0913. If a customer has already purchased a challenge pack or shakeo HD from you, you will not get points again for future orders for additional shakeology orders but for challenge packs you will get 1 new point.
Q. How can I switch a coach from one leg to the other?
You have 3 days or 72 hours to email coach relations and request a change. Email [email protected] and let them know the NAME of the coach and the coach ID number and which leg you want them to be placed on!
Q. Why is there a coach underneath me in my genealogy? Do i need to contact them?
Coaches are placed beneath you on the genealogy tree, they trickle down from your upline and contribute to your team cycle bonuses. You don’t need to contact them unless they are your personally sponsored coaches. These coaches will eventually help you earn MORE.
Q. How do I personalize links so people can order directly through me?
A. You can use www.coachingcodes.com and type in your coach ID number there at the top. Scroll down to the challenge pack or item you are looking for and copy and paste the link! Q. If someone ordered and it went under another coach how do we transfer it over?
A. Ask the customer for their:
1) order number
2) Email it was placed under
3) Address – THEN call coach relations to change the order over to you!
IF they placed their order on beachbody.com they will first have to make a FREE account on teambeachbody from your website link before you call to switch their order using the SAME email. then call coach relations and explain you need a customer order switched to you.

A: YES! The better the communication throughout the team and the more people we have working together, the more we will all benefit and progress faster.
Q. Where should I sign up my spouse/family member? And would that help me?
A. If you think signing up your husband/spouse would be a good choice talk to your sponsoring coach and ask if it will be the best choice for your situation. In most cases, it is best to have your spouse on your weak leg. It can be helpful if you are pushing for a rank advancement but it will have to be maintained and active. I recommend ordering EXTRA samples there and sell those to customers every month who want to try out shakeology before they buy! Sell 7 days worth for $35 and you will have your samples paid for! It’s a GREAT business investment…also when you place orders under there it can increase your TEAM CYCLE BONUS commissions so if you bought a bag of shakeology under your spouse’s account you would earn $14 back as an emerald and $18 as a diamond…so it saves you money on shakeology!
Q. Do we need to start a fitness facebook page or start a blog as newer coach
No…I recommend just working strictly on your personal facebook page for a couple months and setting a SOLID foundation there…no use in opening another page and having to do DOUBLE the work with not that much reward from it. Keep it simple in the beginning, BUT start working on a like page once you hit Emerald!

Q. Why is my earnings “0″ and my commissions different?
A. Every Thursday, what you made from the previous week (Thursday-Wednesday) will show up under Commissions. Once they cut the check for you – the following Thursday – it will show up in your Earnings. Earnings is always 1 week behind. Ps. Your commissions WILL NOT show up until Thursday morning-it does not update every day or every time you sell something so just be patient.
Q. When do we get paid? and how do I update my bank account information?
A. Beachbody pays every Thursday (delayed 1 week – see #12). If you have a paper check it will mail Thursday or you can change your preference to direct deposit (EFT) under your coach online office—click MY BUSINESS-MY EFT MANAGEMENT and update your info there!
Q. What website address do I give to my customer who wants to order?

Q. Where can I find info on challenge packs? Or why can’t I see challenge packs as a coach?
A. You have to sign out of www.teambeachbody.com to see challenge packs! Coaches cannot order them or see them for some reasons, go to your retail page www.beachbodycoach.com/yourusername and click shop then click challenge packs on the left side tabs!
Q. Why can’t I see the challenge packs?
A. You must be signed out of your back office to view challenge packs. Coaches cannot purchase challenge packs because they are already at a discounted price.
Q. How do I change my preferred placement?
A. Sign into your COACH ONLINE OFFICE >my business>preferred placement. (make sure your coach ID is in the box) and pick which leg you want and click SAVE.
Q. How do we pay Taxes?
A. Taxes are not withheld from your weekly earnings and are your responsibility to pay at the end of the year. It is advised to save any and all receipts for anything pertaining to your business and seek a professional at tax time. Beachbody will send you a 1099.
Q. How do I get free leads?
A. You must meet all of the qualifications under My business>lead qualification in your coach online office. Go there to find out more about qualifications!
Q. What is the Club membership? Why do I need that?
A. In order to qualify for the customer lead program, being a club member is required. you are charged immediately and then every 3 months ($38.87 plus tax). For customers, being a club member means a 10% discount on products. Also, we NOW have On Demand, which is HUGE!
Q. When someone is purchasing a challenge pack and becoming a coach is it the same checkout procedure?
A. NO! A new coach must go to YOUR website and click Coach and then click Be a coach and fill out that first page of info there. Once that info is filled out with your name under the referring coach it will prompt them to choose their challenge pack.. THEN they will pick a challenge pack and check out. That is how they become active! Always encourage new —a small challenge pack WITH A WORKOUT is $140 as well. So get the challenge pack always!
Q. Do I have to be on HD? Why?
A. You dont HAVE to be on shakeology HD.., but it is recommended! If you are not on HD then it is likely you are not being a “product of the product”… being on HD also is what qualifies you for Success Club each month…plus shakeology is just AWESOME! The more you drink it the more you love it and will share your passion with others. It’s a huge business builder!
Q. I have a friend who works for the company it works and sells those weight-loss wraps. She says that she’ll be a coach for me if I’ll be a coach for her. What Would you think about that?
A. NO! As a beachbody coach you CAN NOT be a distributor for another “competitor” so if that friend signs up as a coach they will have to make a choice to cancel their it works business or cancel their coaching business.
Q. Can customers pay for products in payments?
A. Only through the main beachbody website which won’t allow you to receive any compensation from it until it is fully paid for and transferred to you.. so basically no.
Q. If a coach doesn’t get a CP at sign up can they still purchase a CP later on? How can they get their 39.95 fee waived?
A. Team Beachbody is allowing ANY customer who has purchased a Challenge Pack, at any time, to upgrade to a Coach for FREE! To take advantage of this offer, you should first enroll as a Coach online and pay the $39.95 Coach fee, which will later be refunded. In order to receive the refund, you must fill out the online refund request form and submit to Coach Relations within 31 days of enrollment. The refund will be processed within 2 business days of receipt.
Q: How do I get beyond the issue of approaching people without feeling like a salesperson?
A: A good way to get over that mindset is to not even think about selling anything at all when approaching people. In fact, don’t even let people know what you do or that you receive a commission on the products for a while until you feel comfortable enough engaging in conversation about the subject. Instead, recommend P90X or Shakeology to them, completely putting the business to the side. Once you do that enough times, you will begin to form the mindset of recommending products instead of selling them, and once that happens, you can start adding in that you’re a coach and this is your business.
Q: How can you approach people so easily?
A: I look at it as my responsibility to help people lose weight and feel great about themselves, and if there’s a time where I know I should have said something but didn’t, I feel terribly guilty because I know how much of an impact I could have had on that person’s life. You have to remember that you talking to that person can literally change their life, and if you don’t, they might continue on that path of destruction for the rest of their life. That’s why I’m always telling the team that this business is a business of helping people, not selling, but the great thing is that once you approach the business with the sole intent of helping people, you will begin to sell product.
Q: How long does it take to become successful?
A: Most coaches on the team who are 100% engaged in the business progress to Diamond anywhere from 5-8 months, sometimes longer and sometimes shorter, all depending on their effort level. It took me about 3 months to progress to Diamond and then about a year and a half to make enough money to make this a full-time career. Patience is important in this business!
Q: Do you hold 3-way calls?
A: I will hold a 3-way call with any coach on the team with their prospects. Your upline Diamond or Star Diamond coach will do the same, and it’s especially important to utilize this tool within your first 2-3 months as a coach. Why? We have had success, have credibility, and know how to get beyond any objections before they are even asked. By holding 3-way calls, you will learn what we say to people, how we lead the conversation, speak with confidence, and get beyond any objections so that you can eventually be able to do the same with your coaches.
Q: Is creating your own separate website important?
A: Yes! It’s one of the most important parts of your entire business. Your website or blog is going to serve as the central location for your entire business, and that’s where you’re going to direct all traffic to, whether online or offline, and where people will learn about you, the products, the coaching opportunity, and make a decision to purchase or get involved with the business.
Q: How do I check in with clients?
A: This is an email you might want to think about sending your clients who make any purchases, to make sure you are checking in and letting them know you are there anytime they need you! Remember to make these personal! You could do bi-weekly check-ins or once a month! Click here to see a sample check-in email, inviting someone to a sneak peek. You can alter that however you would like!
Q: Should I send a Welcome Email to all of my new customers?
A: Yes. Pick a certain day each week, say Friday, where you go to your Coach Office, and in the bottom left, you will see the amount of new customers you have that week! Click on that, and then send them an email. In that email, let them know that you’re their coach (if it isn’t someone you recognize as someone in your groups) and that you’re here to help them if they have any questions or need some extra encouragement and support. Something that a lot of coaches do os send a “Welcome” video, talking about their story, what products they’ve used and gotten results with, and letting them know that you’re here to help!
Q: Should I sign up someone as a coach if they only want a discount on Shakeology?
A: This is another tough question. If you’re looking to advance a rank, a “Shakeology Coach” is good to solidify an active coach spot. However, you will “earn” more from that person as a customer rather than a coach, unless he/she gets others involved with Shakeology, bringing in more volume points. HOWEVER< most discount coaches, end up coaching at some point…after all, I was a discount coach!
Q. Should I add a discount coach to our coaching group?
A. That is completely up to you. If you would like to you can, but I would rather leave them out of the group until they are ready to coach.
Q: Should I keep the Club Membership?
A: Yes. The most important part of this business is being a product of the product, and once you use the Club Membership, ESPECIALLY the On Demand, you understand the benefits and are more than likely going to begin recommending it to others as well! Plus, in order to qualify for the Customer Lead Program, you have to be a Club Member and Emerald Coach.
Q. Does my spouse need the Club Membership?
A. NO. At least not until they need to become Emerald for you to advance in your business. There’s really no benefit for them to have the Club Membership if they are not working the business!
Q: When should I branch off and form my own team?
A: I don’t recommend that you branch off until you’re at a Diamond Coach and have over 20 coaches on your team. Even then, there is no reason to completely branch off, as it’s more beneficial to remain engaged with the other coaches on our team The more we come together as a team and create that free flow of communication, the more we will all benefit!
Q. What is the Graphical Geneology?
A. To see where your personally sponsored coaches are placed, go to your backoffice, click My Business>MyDownline>Graphpical Geneology. Your personally sponsored coaches will show in blue. You can also go to My Business>My Downline >Sponsorship Drilldown to see who is projected to be active for Wednesday night to start the pay week off on Thursday as “active”.

A: This is an email you might want to think about sending your clients who make any purchases, to make sure you are checking in and letting them know you are there anytime they need you! Q: Should I send a Welcome Email to all of my new customers?
A: Yes. Pick a certain day each week, say Friday, where you go to your Coach Office, and in the bottom left, you will see the amount of new customers you have that week! Click on that, and then send them an email. In that email, let them know that you’re their coach (if it isn’t someone you recognize as someone in your groups) and that you’re here to help them if they have any questions or need some extra encouragement and support. Something that a lot of coaches do os send a “Welcome” video, talking about their story, what products they’ve used and gotten results with, and letting them know that you’re here to help!
Q: Should I sign up someone as a coach if they only want a discount on Shakeology?
A: This is another tough question. If you’re looking to advance a rank, a “Shakeology Coach” is good to solidify an active coach spot. However, you will “earn” more from that person as a customer rather than a coach, unless he/she gets others involved with Shakeology, bringing in more volume points. HOWEVER< most discount coaches, end up coaching at some point…after all, I was a discount coach!
Q. Should I add a discount coach to our coaching group?
A. That is completely up to you. If you would like to you can, but I would rather leave them out of the group until they are ready to coach.
Q: Should I keep the Club Membership?
A: Yes. The most important part of this business is being a product of the product, and once you use the Club Membership, ESPECIALLY the On Demand, you understand the benefits and are more than likely going to begin recommending it to others as well! Plus, in order to qualify for the Customer Lead Program, you have to be a Club Member and Emerald Coach.
Q. Does my spouse need the Club Membership?
A. NO. At least not until they need to become Emerald for you to advance in your business. There’s really no benefit for them to have the Club Membership if they are not working the business!
Q: When should I branch off and form my own team?
A: I don’t recommend that you branch off until you’re at a Diamond Coach and have over 20 coaches on your team. Even then, there is no reason to completely branch off, as it’s more beneficial to remain engaged with the other coaches on our team The more we come together as a team and create that free flow of communication, the more we will all benefit!
Q. What is the Graphical Geneology?
A. To see where your personally sponsored coaches are placed, go to your backoffice, click My Business>MyDownline>Graphpical Geneology. Your personally sponsored coaches will show in blue. You can also go to My Business>My Downline >Sponsorship Drilldown to see who is projected to be active for Wednesday night to start the pay week off on Thursday as “active”.
